Accessible. Industrious. Dynamic.

Peter Haber started Haber Law Firm after several years as a legal executive at Popcornopolis, a gourmet popcorn brand sold at groceries and stadiums nationwide. In this role, Peter served as the company’s sole in-house legal advisor as it related to all functions of the company’s operations, including dispute resolution, compliance, and employment law, to name a few. With his help and guidance, the company relocated its entire corporate and manufacturing operation, developed a new factory and warehouse, and was successfully acquired by private equity.

Prior to this, Peter was a litigator and business attorney with distinguished Los Angeles litigation boutiques. Such matters included the representation of numerous businesses in litigation and in the resolution of pre-litigation disputes as well as the representation of professionals in liability defense matters, including hospitals, physicians, and brokers.

Peter has also represented aggrieved individuals in civil rights, employment and personal injury matters.  As a civil rights litigator, his work included representing the families and victims of police brutality, often with emotional facts and challenging legal considerations.  Accomplishments in this field include a published article, “Court’s Shouldn’t Shield Sheriffs” in the Daily Journal, Los Angeles on May 21, 2015.

Haber Law Firm specializes in business and employment law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for small and mid-sized businesses. The firm also reviews and negotiates commercial and service contracts, and handles commercial disputes. Peter has also filed and defended lawsuits on behalf of business owners in contracts, unfair business practices, and numerous other business-related matters. The firm counsels businesses on employment law compliance and human resources best practices, as well as defending businesses in employment-related litigation.

In addition to working with businesses, Peter continues to represent individuals in select civil rights and employment related matters.

Peter was born and raised in Los Angeles. He received his bachelor’s degree in global studies from UCLA and his law degree from Loyola Law School. He currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife and kids. In his spare time, he can be found chasing his kids around a park, fishing, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, and rooting for the LA Dodgers.
